2. Personal data processed
The website includes a contact form to prepare and send availability requests. There are no private areas, booking engines, payment gateways or online contracting tools.
If the user voluntarily contacts us through the form, by email, telephone, WhatsApp or WeChat, we may process the data provided in that communication: name, contact details, dates of interest, expected length of stay, preferred apartment, message content and any other information voluntarily supplied.
The hosting provider may generate minimal technical logs necessary for website operation and security, such as IP address, access date and time, requested URL, browser or technical incidents.
3. Purposes and legal bases
| Responding to enquiries | User consent when contacting voluntarily and, where applicable, pre-contractual measures requested by the user. |

| Managing communications before a possible stay | Pre-contractual measures or legitimate interest in maintaining the requested communication. |
| Website security and maintenance | Legitimate interest in preventing abuse, unauthorised access or technical incidents. |
| Compliance with legal obligations | Compliance with applicable legal obligations, where relevant. |
4. Providers and recipients
Necessary providers may be involved in the operation of the website and communications with users, mainly hosting, email, WhatsApp Business and WeChat. Data may also be disclosed to public authorities, courts or regulators where legally required.
The OpenStreetMap-based interactive map does not load automatically when the page opens. OpenStreetMap tiles and the Leaflet map display library only load when the user presses the map button. To display it, the browser may request technical resources from OpenStreetMap and the Leaflet CDN provider. If the user opens external links to OpenStreetMap, Google Maps or Apple Maps, browsing is also subject to those services’ own terms and policies.
5. International transfers
The use of WhatsApp Business or WeChat may involve processing by external providers subject to their own terms and policies. If international data transfers occur, the safeguards required by data protection law will be applied.
6. Retention
No internal retention periods have been defined. As a general criterion, enquiry data will be kept for the time necessary to respond and reasonably follow up the request. If a contractual relationship is later established, data will be retained for the periods necessary to comply with legal, tax, accounting or claim-related obligations.
7. Data subject rights
Users may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability of their data, and may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Rights may be exercised by writing to info@apartamentosgranviamadrid.es, stating the right to be exercised and providing sufficient information to verify identity.
Users may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency if they believe processing does not comply with applicable law.
8. Commercial communications
Commercial communications will not be sent unless there is a legitimate basis or the prior consent of the user.
9. Prevailing legal language
In case of discrepancy between the Spanish, English and Chinese versions of this policy, the Spanish version shall prevail.
10. Changes to this policy
The owner may update this policy to reflect legal, technical or operational changes. The current version is the one published on this page.
